The construction world has always been a big part of David Giardino’s life. Out of school David worked for JH Lynch and Tilcon where he gained hands-on experience in the field in; paving, laying pipe, operating heavy equipment, working quarries and asphalt plants and driving trucks.

David’s knowledge of the business and tremendous work ethic got him noticed and he quickly began running jobs. Soon after, he advanced to foreman, moved on to Assistant Project Manager and then landed the Project Manager position. In this role, he began to estimate jobs and used technology to enhance how projects were estimated and managed.

He quickly developed a strong reputation in the construction industry and in 1995 he became a consultant for the transportation industry. Here he honed his technology solutions for the construction industry, specifically as it related to estimating and managing projects.

In 1996, David decided to start his own company and PLEXUS was born. Knowing that software was key to revolutionizing the way construction projects were estimated and managed, his first hires were his software development group. Haley, the company mascot joined the company shortly after. Three years later, he hired and developed the Construction team to manage and oversee the construction process. Over the years, David has integrated software development with construction and project management. Now, PLEXUS is a team of over 30 diverse, talented, industry experienced experts in the areas of claims, building, bridge construction, software development, database development, analysis, business intelligence, technical support and implementation.
