Project Managers (in construction) look to PLEXUS to provide an expertise in scheduling. This means that many PM’s have a good to strong understanding of construction in the field; however, scheduling and the use of technology is not one of their strengths. Therefore they need PLEXUS to provide the scheduling expertise so they can be assisted to ensure the work in the field is matching the work reported on. If not PM’s may have a Contractor posturing for a claim and they would be unaware. As stated before construction is becoming increasingly litigious and PM’s are aware that contractors are lawyers and educated business people that can manipulate a project as needed. Therefore they need someone "in the background" protecting them from issues as they are managing the projects from day in and day out.
