Our favorite management project by far was Gillette Stadium. Who wouldn’t be thrilled to be managing a project for the New England Patriots?

Gillette Stadium

This was a $325 million dollar project with thousands of moving parts all needing to come together at specific, sequential times. When they got ready to lay the road and the water pipes were not in place, when they were ready to erect a bridge and the road was not ready, when they had labor shortages on some jobs and too many laborers on others – they realized it was time to call PLEXUS. This project had become a management nightmare and they needed someone who could look at the big picture and manage all the details to take this project into its final phases.

RIDOT

The State of RI needed to construct 5 major infrastructure projects, and they had no way of funding them. The size and complexity of the projects needed financing and a way to manage it. PLEXUS was instrumental in obtaining and managing the financing and execution of a $650 million GARVEE construction program. What’s GARVEE? Its a great financial opportunity for any state DOT.

Newport Collaborative

PLEXUS was brought in mid stream on an ACI project that was not going well. PLEXUS quickly teamed up, got involved and assisted the architect and owner in mitigating issues and completing the project. Our work included project scheduling, on site reviews, and claims management.
